Tech issue disrupts Mastercard services overseas

Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced a disruption in Mastercard services overseas, due to a technical issue with their service provider.

In a statement on Saturday, the bank warned that customers “may not be able to use Mastercard services abroad at this time.”

BML said their teams are working with the network to resolve the issue.

The bank apologized for the inconvenience.

BML was not immediately available for comment regarding details of the issue.
