Indian superstar Rajinikanth arrives in Maldives

Celebrated Indian superstar Rajinikanth has arrived in the Maldives.

Rajinikanth, upon his arrival in the Maldives on Friday evening, received a warm welcome from Sri Lankan Airlines, which posted the photos on social media.

He is likely in the Maldives on vacation.

Rajinikanth’s latest work is his daughter’s film ‘Lal Salaam’, which he had just recently wrapped up shooting. Videos of the shooting a presently viral on social media.

Rajinikanth, in a career spanning over five decades. has done more than 160 films that include films in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam.

The Indian government, in 2000, honored him with Padma Bhushan, and in 2016, with Padba Vibhushan which is India's third and second highest civilian honors, and the highest award in the field of cinema Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2019 for his contributions to Indian cinema.
