President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih traveled to AA. Ukulhas on Monday after concluding his visit to Addu City.
President Solih is vising Ukulhas to partake in the national-level celebrations to mark this year’s World Environment Day.
The celebrations include an official ceremony and a ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’ festival.
He will also hold discussions with the Ukulhas Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) members to gather input regarding the challenges and concerns faced by the residential community which are crucial in shaping the President's developmental agenda and ensuring that it addresses the needs and aspirations of the people.
President Solih returned to Male’ City on Monday afternoon after concluding his three-day visit to Addu City. He left straight to Ukulhas.
During his visit to Addu City, President Solih inaugurated several significant developmental projects undertaken by the administration and reviewed the progress of ongoing initiatives. The projects inaugurated included mega project to upgrade Gan International Airport.
Preisdent Solih also held separate meetings with the members of the Addu City Council and the Women's Development Committee which centered around the administration's developmental agenda and focused on finding solutions to address the concerns raised by the residential communities.
