Fire breaks out at Majeedhee Magu Delight shop building

A fire broke out at the Delight shop building in Majeedhee Magu late Tuesday afternoon.

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) said its fire and rescue team was immediately dispatched to the scene upon the report.

The fire which broke out at the fifth floor of the building, as per MNDF, has now been controlled.

No one was injured in the fire.

Police said the fire was reported to the authority at approximately 3:39pm. They said they were investigating the incident further.
