Physical works commences on outdoor gym funded by MP Siyam at Bandidhoo

Physcial works have commenced an outdoor gym with modern equipment in Dh. Bandidhoo - funded by the parliamentarian for the constituency; Ahmed Siyam Ahmed. 

The foundation for the gym was laid by Bandidhoo Council's President Mohamed Moosa and Sun Construction Group's Managing Director Hussain Salim Mohamed in a ceremony attended by Bandidhoo council members and residents. 

Speaking to Sun regarding this gym, Bandidhoo Council President Mohamed Moosa said that the gym, with built-in modern equipment, will provide great benefits for the people.

“This gym will include lots of different elements, and I believe that it will be better in terms of aesthetics and accessibility in comparison to other outdoor gyms in the Maldives. Moreover, the gym will be built based on a unique concept,” Moosa said.

He further said that the gym is a pertinent need for Bandidhoo residents. He added that youths, especially, have shown immense support for the project. 

Bandidhoo outdoor gym project valued at MVR 350,000 is planned to be completed within two months.

The project is undertaken by Sosun Builders.
