Pension Administration Office opens applications for Board vacancy

Maldives Pension Administration Office has opened applications for a vacancy on its Board.

The vacancy is for one of four directors who represent the private sector.

Interested candidates have been asked to email their applications or submit it to the MPAO’s reception by 02:00 pm Thursday, February 16.

According to MPAO, the selection committee will make the final candidate after shortlisting three candidates.

MPAO’s directors who represent the private sector are appointed by the President.

According to the law, the MPAO must be run by an eight-member Board; the chairperson, a senior official from the security market regulator, a senior civil servant from Finance Ministry, a senior civil servant from the ministry in charge of social security, a senior official from Civil, and four private sector representatives who don’t serve any state or government position.
