President embarks on campaign tour of N. Atoll

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih embarked on a tour of N. Atoll on Saturday, as part of his campaign to win Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP)’s presidential ticket.

He travelled to N. Atoll after concluding campaign stops in R. Atoll this weekend.

His first stop was in N. Atoll was in Kendhikulhudhoo.

Both President Solih and his contender – MDP leader and Parliament speaker, former president Mohamed Nasheed have begun campaign tours of islands.

Nasheed is currently touring islands in ADh. Atoll.

MDP is set to hold its presidential primary on January 28.
