President travels to Gaafu Alifu Atoll on two-day visit

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Friday afternoon, traveled to Gaafu Alifu Atoll on a two-day day official visit.

He will visit three islands during the trip; Dhaandhoo, Nilandhoo, and Maamendhoo.

During the trip, President Solih will attend functions to mark the completion of infrastructure development projects initiated by the administration. He is also scheduled to eet with members of the island councils, Women’s Development Committees (WDC), and residents of the respective islands.

The President is accompanied by a delegation of senior government officials on this trip.

He is due to return to Male’ City on Saturday evening.
