Chief Superintendent of Police Mohamed Basheer briefs press on the case of Shiaau Mohamed Saeed, 22, who was found murdered in an apartment on the ninth floor of H. Sheereen Villa on August 6.

Basheer said the case will be sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office for charges against the suspect - Ali Shaahil, 22 – within the next two weeks.

He said that Ali Mohamed’s account, including regarding the purpose of the trip and the location where the boat capsized, do not correspond with investigative findings.
