CA Maldives to hold forum for accountants

Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives) is set to conduct technical sessions on IFRS and ISAs for the accounting professionals in the Maldives.

The IFRS & ISAs Forum 2022 will be held from August 20–21 at the MNU Business School Auditorium.

CA Maldives states the forum aims to contribute to the provision of the education and technical training requirements of the members of the institute and other accounting professionals in the country and develop the accounting profession in the Maldives.

The IFRS and ISAs Forum 2022 will cover important standards, new standards, updates, and practical applications of the standards.

Two members from the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants (MICPA), along with local experts from the Accounting Profession in the Maldives, will be conducting sessions at the forum.

CA Maldives states it is targeting the forum for the members of the institute, accounting and finance professionals and practitioners, as well as students in the accounting field.

The forum offers 12 hours of CPD for the institute members who take part in the forum.

• Members of the institute: MVR 1,500
• Non-members: MVR 2,000
• Students: MVR 750
