Accident in Kulhudhuffushi: Motorcycle crashes, catches fire

An accident occurred in HDh. Kulhudhuffushi where a motorcycle that was driven at high-speed hit a lamp-post, crashed and caught fire.

The incident occurred at about 09:30 AM on Monday morning.

Speaking to Sun, an eye-witness said that the driver of the motorcycle in question was speeding on the main road of Kulhudhuffushi.

“When the motorcycle hit the lamp post, the driver was thrown off, and fell near a car parked about 40 feet away.”

The driver is currently being treated at Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital.

The hospital reported that the injuries were not serious.
