HPA begins mobile vaccination of bedridden patients

Health Protection Agency (HPA), with support from Maldivian Red Crescent, has begun mobile vaccination of bedridden patients at their homes. 

HPA said it began mobile vaccinations for bedridden patients on Tuesday. 

Appointments for mobile vaccinations can be booked by calling HPA’s hotline 1676. 

Maldives has fully vaccinated a large percentage of the population and launched mass administration of the booster dose in January. 

Over 369,000 people have been fully vaccinated and over 72,000 have received the booster dose.
