Health Protection Agency (HPA) urged mosque-goers to be cautious amidst the increasing number of daily positive COVID-19 cases.

Stating that small steps can create a big impact on being safe, HPA advised people to bring their own mat and make 'wudu' from home.

Additionally, after completing prayers, HPA urged to not crowd when leaving the mosque, meet many people and shake hands.

Currently, Maldives is seeing an increase in the number of positive cases, with over 300 cases being recorded in the past 24 hours. While there are 2,908 active cases, 13 of them are hospitalized.
