COVID-19 deaths reported in Thinadhoo, Male' City, total number at 173

Two more people have died due to COVID-19 in the Maldives. 

They include a patient who was admitted at the COVID-19 facility in GDh. Thinadhoo and the Hulhumale' Medical Facility in Male' City.

The Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital in Thinadhoo stated that the patient was an 88-year old local male.

The time of death was recorded at 5:30. This is the first death related to the virus in Thinadhoo. 

This is the 172nd death related to the virus in total. 

Health Protection Agency (HPA) stated that the patient that passed away at the facility in Hulhumale' was aged 62. 

This is the 173rd death related to the virus in the Maldives.
