Maldives' COVID-19 death toll rises to 156

A COVID-19 patient has passed away in the Maldives. 

This is the fifth death in relation to the virus today. According to sources, the deceased is an 84-year old male who was admitted at the Hulhumale' Medical Facility. 

This the 156th death related to COVID-19 in the Maldives in total. 

The Maldives has been recording an extraordinary amount of deaths as well as positive cases since mid-April. In May alone, more than 80 deaths have been recorded in relation to the virus.
