Maldives' COVID-19 death toll rises to 148

Another death has been reported in relation to COVID-19 in the Maldives, bringing the total number of deaths to 148. 

Sources have confirmed to Sun that the deceased was a 71-year old male. He was admitted at the Hulhumale' Medical Facility when he passed away. 

This is the fourth death reported today. 

As of recently, COVID-19 deaths in the Maldives have been on the rise with more than 70 deaths confirmed in the month of May alone.
