COVID-19: Maldives records 26th death, 62-yr old foreigner

Health Protection Agency (HPA) has just announced the death of a foreign national who tested positive for COVID-19.

In a tweet, HPA said that the individual was a 62-year-old Bangladeshi male. He was admitted at the DH16 facility of Dharumavantha Hospital.

The time of death is recorded as 20:02. This is the 26th COVID-19 death in the Maldives.

Health Protection Agency announced 194 additional cases of COVID-19 tonight, increasing confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Maldives to 6,564.

The Maldives currently has 2,527 active cases.
