Man attacked for allegedly harassing girl in Dhaandhoo

An individual has been attacked by a group in G. A. Dhaandhoo.

Police said that they had received reports of a man attacked in Dhaandhoo. The man suffered injuries to his face as a result of the attack.

Sun has confirmed through sources that man was from M. Kolhufushi. Sources also said that the man was attacked on allegation of sexually harassing a girl. The man was attacked by family members of the girl as well as some of her friends, according to the source.

The man required stitches due to the attack and his face was left swollen due to the attack. Police said that he had been released after medical treatment.

No one has been arrested so far due to the incident and Police are now looking into the matter.
