Fuvahmulah city ring road project nears completion

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that the project to construct a ring road in Fuvahmulah city was nearing an end.

The project to construct the tar road also known as Naibu Thuththu Hingun was commenced in October last year. MTCC stated that when complete the road will cover an area of 20,650 meters.

The project now mainly consists of constructing the pavements on the side of the road for pedestrians which will extend for 10,325 meters.

The project is set to be completed by August and work to install LED street lights and drainage systems on the road will also be commenced soon, according to MTCC.
