President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Tuesday, expressed appreciation for the doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals in the frontline of the battle against COVID-19 pandemic.
The President expressed his appreciation in a tweet this morning.
He said that the World Health Day being observed this Tuesday coincided with “the most severe global health crisis of our generation, at a time when the bravery and dedication of our doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals are on full display.”
He thanked healthcare professionals for their continued service.
“I thank them and pray that the world is soon made safe from COVID-19,” he said.
