Covid-19: Worldwide cases pass one million

The confirmed number of global Covid-19 cases has passed one million.

According to the Johns Hopkins University, more than a million cases of the virus, declared as a global pandemic has been registered.

The disease has so far killed 51,000 people. 208,000 have also recovered after contracting the disease.

The United States has the highest number of most cases while Italy has the highest death toll.

Covid-19, first emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan in November of 2019.
