Tree Top Hospital reintroduces Colonoscopy procedure

Tree Top Hospital in the Maldives has reintroduced Colonoscopy procedure services once again.

The service will be conducted by the General Surgery Department of the hospital and recommences after almost a year. The procedure will be led by Consultant Onco-surgeon Dr. Ali Shifan, according to the hospital and will be assisted by a specialized team.

Colonoscopy is an exam used to detect changes or abnormalities in the large intestine and rectum.
