2 locals isolated after direct contact with Covid-19 patient

Authorities have begun work to isolate two locals who came into direct contact with a positive case of the Covid-19 virus.

The two locals are to be tested for the virus and were being relocated to the isolation facility in Velidhoo.

The Maldives confirmed 13 cases of the virus so far. Out of the 13, three have made full recoveries. The confirmed cases were all foreigners from resorts in the country.
