A signed announcement by the Director-General of Public Health, Maimoona Abubakuru, read that yachts and safaris cannot dock or enter the country until further notice starting from midnight today.

If such an order by the Director-General is violated, the party could be fined by MVR 5000, according to the law.

Shisha smoking was banned in the country on March 19 as a measure against the Covid-19 virus.
