Vilamendhoo Island Resort in A.Dh. atoll has been reopened after the suspected case of Covid-19 identified from the resort tested negative, according to a tweet by HPA.
Sample collected from the individual suspected of #COVID19 from Vilamendhoo Island Resort has been tested as NEGATIVE.

Contact tracing is now complete for the island.
As per protocol, temporary restrictive measures enacted on the island have now been lifted.
The island was placed under restrictive measures following the suspected case.
A total of six people have been confirmed for the disease in the Maldives. All six cases are foreign nationals.
