EC receives 373 complaints over Local Council Elections voters list

Elections Commission, on Saturday, announced it had received 373 complaints in response to the voters list it released for the upcoming Local Council Elections.

The deadline to submit complaints in response to the voters list expired on Friday.

EC is currently in the process of probing the complaints before it publishes the permanent voters list.

The Local Council Elections is scheduled to be held on April 4, and will see voters elect 980 officials.

According to the tentative voters list released by EC, 269,562 are eligible to vote in the elections.
