Down payments for Addu city flats can be made in installments

Addu city council has announced that the down payments for the flats built in Hithadhoo can be made in installments.

The Council announced that the MVR 19,000 down payment can be made in installments of two months of which the first payment of MVR 9500 must be made within 30 days of signing the agreement for the flats. The second payment of MVR 9500 should be made within 60 days.

The agreement signing process is being carried out currently with the flats built in S. Hithadhoo already signed by tenants. The process for the flats in Hulhumeedhoo and Hulhudhoo is also set to begin soon.

30 of these flats are allocated for Maradhoo and Maradhoo-Feydhoo natives who wished to relocate to Hithadhoo and 50 flats were allocated for natives of Feydhoo who wished to relocate to Hithadhoo. The flats were contracted out to be built by China National Machinery and Equipment Import and Export Corporation (CMEC).
