Zenit signs Hulk from Porto on 5-year contract

MOSCOW (AP) — Zenit St. Petersburg has signed Brazil forward Hulk on a five-year contract from FC Porto.

The Russian club announced the signing on Monday, but did not give further details of contract terms.

As a member of Brazil's national team, Hulk has 14 caps and five goals. He played at the London Olympics earlier this year as one of his country's three over-23 players.

Zenit says the 26-year-old Hulk is set to play in either a central striking position or as a winger.
