Designated Aasandha and NSPA counter established at IGMH

Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has established a designated dispatch counter for Aasandha Health Insurance and National Social Protection Agency (NSPA) services at the hospital’s reception.

Services from the new counter was launched during a function held at IGMH by Minister of Gender, Family and Social Services, Shidhatha Shareef, this Monday morning.

Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services reports the new counter will ensure several key services from Aasandha and NSPA are received directly from the IGMH.

The services include issuance of service application forms, collection of application forms, and information clearance.

The counter will be open daily from 8 am to 9 pm.

Speaking during this Monday’s function, Shidhatha noted the inconvenience shouldered by members of the general public for years in obtaining services from Aasandha and NSPA.

Shidhatha noted that travelling from one office to another to receive the services took energy, time, and money. She said that the Maldivian administration wanted to essential services were available from one place with minimum inconvenience.
