HPA: 69 percent of people tested positive for Influenza A

Health Protection Agency (HPA) has said that 69 percent of the people who were tested have tested positive for Influenza A. 

A statement issued by the HPA today said that influenza and the cold that began started spreading in the second week of the month is continuing to spread. And the highest number of cases were reported in this past week. 

The HPA statement said that the highest number of positives in the latest outbreak is the Influenza A strand, H3N1. 

As the influenza continue to spread, an elderly man who was diagnosed at ADK Hospital passed away last week while under going treatment.
