Judicial Services Commission has made the decision to appoint former Registrar at High Court and Deputy Minister of Education, Hassan Ali as a High Court judge.
JSC said the commission decided to appoint Hassan Ali with the unanimous vote of all present during a meeting this Wednesday.
Hassan Ali was removed from his post as Registrar at High Court and appointed Managing Director of Aasandha Company in 2017.
He previously also served as Immigration Controller and Deputy Housing Minister.
The High Court still has two seats vacant despite Hassan Ali’s appointment.
