Rooney rejoins Everton after 13 years at Manchester United

Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney has left the club to rejoin Everton after 13 years at Old Trafford.

Associate Press (AP) reports the 31-year-old signing a two-year contract with Everton.

Initially Rooney moved from Everton to United for 27 million pounds in 2004 and went on to become club's all-time top scorer. He is also England's record scorer.

Rooney struggled for match time in United' last season in under Jose Mourinho.
