International award to Ooredoo Smart Campus

Ooredoo Smart Campus established in association with Microsoft has won a at the Global Telecom Business (GTB) award.

Assistant Manager of Public Relations at Ooredoo Maldives, Ibrahim Zahir told Sun Media today that the Ooredoo Smart Campus won a GTB award in the category of Innovation in Enterprise.

The award was presented to the Head of Sales of Ooredoo, Hussain Niyaz at a ceremony held in London last night.

The GTB Award is presented to the notable, successful projects run by different groups in the telecom industry.

The cloud-based education system in association with Microsoft, Ooredoo Smart Campus was inaugurated in August 2016. The service is provided using the could application Microsoft in Education.

And so documented works are provided through cloud-based interaction with fee data packages. Teachers and students using the service also receives a free Microsoft license as well.
