It's Messi vs. Ronaldo in friendly at Old Trafford

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — It will be Lionel Messi vs. Cristiano Ronaldo when Argentina faces Portugal in a friendly on Nov. 18 in Manchester, England.

The Argentine Football Association says it is also trying to line up a friendly on Nov. 15 in Madrid, possibly against Colombia. The game has not been confirmed.

Argentina, beaten finalist at the World Cup in July, also has friendlies on Oct. 11 against archrival Brazil in Beijing, and against host Hong Kong on Oct. 14.

The Argentines seldom play friendlies at home, where the stadiums are old, and limit revenue for even attractive matchups.
