ZENICA, Bosnia-Herzegovina (AP) — UEFA President Michel Platini has opened a 5-million euro football center in Bosnia, designed to help the national team prepare for matches and give young talents from the region a chance to develop their skills.
The project was financed mainly by UEFA with some contribution from FIFA. The facility was opened Monday in the central Bosnian town of Zenica and has two pitches, six changing rooms and top-class meeting and accommodation premises.
Platini said he was happy with the way the facility was built and added that the region is full of young talents.
