Messi out of Barca's last Asian friendly

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — Barcelona says Lionel Messi will miss the final friendly match of its preseason tour of Asia with a muscle strain in his left leg.

With the Argentina star out, the club said Brazil striker Neymar will start Saturday's match against Malaysia XI at the Shah Alam stadium.

Barcelona says the game was switched from Kuala Lumpur's Bukit Jalil stadium after the team trained there on Friday and found that "the state of the pitch was not ideal."
