Kilmarnock draws 1-1 with Dunfermline in Scotland

GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) — Kilmarnock missed a chance to return to the top six of the Scottish Premier League on Tuesday after Dunfermline earned a 1-1 draw at home for a valuable point in its battle against relegation.

In a game postponed because of fog on Dec. 10, James Fowler's deflected shot put the visitors ahead after 21 minutes. But Andy Kirk equalized in the 44th to make sure the Pars moved level on points with Hibernian at the foot of the SPL standings — albeit still looking for their first home win of the season.

Kilmarnock is seventh.
