MILAN (AP) — AC Milan forward Mario Balotelli has been fined €10,000 ($13,300) by the Italian league for making a vulgar gesture at Inter Milan fans while walking off the pitch after Sunday's derby.

Meanwhile, Inter was fined €50,000 ($66,500) for racist chants and insulting banners held aloft by its fans directed at Balotelli, who is of Ghanaian descent.

Milan was also fined €10,000 ($13,300) for an insulting banner that its fans unveiled.

In the second half of the match, which ended 1-1, Balotelli held a finger to his mouth toward Inter fans, signaling for quiet.
